A lunchtime sewing update

Fouffy sleeves are out- the beaded chiffon hasn't got enough body to sustain them.

Arm drapes are in. I've heat-sealed the drapes so I don't weight them too much with hemming. I've got to make the casings for the elastic, but I may leave that until I'm on the train tonight. It's a hand sewing job, I think.

Anklets are also in. However, at the moment they don't look like much, on account of needing decoration. Which I can't do today because those pale pink seed beads haven't arrived in the post yet (sob!)

The sausage headband has been desausaged. However, I appear to have the hairdo of a three-year-old girl.
The REAL headband!
Again, I await beads before I can do much more on this.

The whopping big elephant in my metaphorical sewing room is hemming the skirt. I've been putting that off big-stylee. I may add it as a train sewing job.

Apart from the train jobs there's nothing more I can do on this one for at least the rest of today, so it's time to hit the candy pink lycra again, and cut out the next lot of skirt pieces.
