I decided I would have to edge-bead all day, to see if the last bag of cup sequins that I had would be enough, so that if I needed to order another one, I could do so and still have a chance that it would arrive in the next couple of days.

It wasn't enough.

So I've got a gap of about 80cms, that remains to be beaded towards the end of the week. I have full confidence that the bag of sequins will arrive by Wednesday or Thursday. Once I'd done as much edge-beading as I could I got started on the dangles. They are going on the top and bottom of the scarf, where it goes around the body, and on the ends.

Hipscarf beading well under way
You can see at the bottom where I had to stop the beading.

And here's a close up of the dangles

The ends have been dangled, and I've started on the top edge. It has only just occurred to me that there is actually a top and a bottom to this scarf, which means I'll have to remember to put it on the right way up.

PS - I only needed one 85p bag of sequins, but JosyRose has a minimum order so I *had* to buy 2m of diamanté chain trim. It's earmarked for the raspberry sorbet upgrade (unless I can think of any other use for it in the meantime) whenever I get round to that.
