Class last night

I got the Farnham classes under way last night.

The Beginners class has seven people enrolled. It would have been eight, but one woman turned up with a small child in tow, and averred that she goes *everywhere* with her. This was not my problem, so I told her she would need to speak to the lady on reception, who told her that it would not be possible. She may well have been a very well behaved little girl, but we are are *Adult* learning. Anyway, the Beginners class seems like a nice bunch of ladies, and I hope that they are happy with the class and will be coming back next week!

The Improver/Intermediates class was rather small. I've got fewer enrollments, at least three people have work/study commitments getting in the way. And three people who are enrolled were on holiday. I'm going a bit easy on them this term, keeping the technique straightforward. The choreography to El Hantour seems to be well received so far, and again, I'm trying to keep it simpler, so that they can learn it in time for Hipnotic in November!

So far so good.

Poor kid. I thought most umbilical cords were cut after birth!

We had two beginners in our class this week, fingers crossed they come back again next week.
