Lining the bra

I'm giving myself a break from edge-beading for the moment, because I'm reaching the stage where I have to trim the hem of the dress, and ideally I need to be able to do that with the completed bra.

And that means completing the bra- lining and adding hooks. I've done the cups, but I can now see the down-side of having multiple straps- more straps to line! Still, I'm sure it won't take too long. And there's nothing else that needs that sort of finishing, no hip belt, so it's a good thing to tick off the To Do list.

I am maintaining the fruit-based theme of the costume, by using the lemon and cherry print cotton that I used for lining the Pink Confetti. Admittedly it's a happy accident that I actually had any fruit-based fabric in the stash at all, and that this piece was the right sort of size to be able to use it. But that's the joy of Serendipity.

This (I hope) will all mean that by the end of this evening, I'm set to do some substantial train beading on the way to Cambridge tomorrow. Yes, I know I *could* drive there, but the train is way cheaper, and I can do stuff while I'm travelling. Stuff like edge-beading! And for the journey home, stuff like writing up my notes.

Assuming all goes to plan, I should be there at 11 as well. You got room for an extra bod?
