Birfday Ballet booked!

Sleeping Beauty - New Adventures

I've had this in my head ever since I heard that Matthew Bourne was taking on Sleeping Beauty, so about a year already and my birthday's in December, so it's been a long term plan! I've got second circle tickets, because I'm cheap, but they are in the front row, so we should have a good view. I'm assuming M will be coming with me, because that was the plan, but if not, I'm sure I can find someone to come along. Or if not, I'll damn well go on my own, it wouldn't be the first time, and I'm sure it wouldn't be the last.

I've just booked the tickets, for my actual birthday, so I now have no need to hide in a darkened room, trying to hold the demons of 49 at bay armed only with a bottle of wine and a tub of Haagen Dasz (nope, I've got no idea how you spell it- you don't have to spell it to eat it).

Yay for darkity dark gothic ballet!

And talking of going up to London, do any of my flisties fancy visiting the V&A to look at the pretty ballgowns?
