Continuation of the Fab Crazy Floral

The FCF is progressing and I'm happy with how it's going, which is gratifying, and justifies the decision to put this one on the shelf for a little while until I loved it again. The skirt is now pretty much all done bar the hemming and the beading. It's got the front split godets, as well as the drapé, and it's looking the way I want it to.

It's time for the bra now. All I'm doing on that is adding the black drapé, and that will take a little while (and a few pin scratches). I'm hoping that I can appliqué it onto the cups and sew it neatly so that it abuts the edge-beading that's already there. If I can't, then I may need to screw up my courage and unpick the beading where the black is going, and re-do it afterwards.

(ETA- the bra drapé's done now. And I didn't have to unpick any beading. Huzzah!

Bra with black drapé)

The only other thing I could do now, while I'm waiting on the Hallo Sailor beads, is make the basic armbands and anklets. But I received one lot of the beads in the post this morning, and I'm expecting the others tomorrow or Friday, so I'm thinking I will soon be back to Hallo Sailor.

Thank you! Coming from the Queen of the Wardrobe of DOOM, that's a serious compliment!

Thank you! I'm pleased with how it's worked out, because I wasn't sure about it when I went into it.

Of course, there's still plenty of opportunity to muck it all up, when I start the beading!
